Farmers Market is open!!!

Yay! So happy tis the season for fresh local vegetables. Originally slated to open last Wed. & there were vendors there, but it rained so Grand Opening changed to today. It was awesome! New location at Shelby Park is great. Lots more room, great shady trees as well as wide open space + playground!!!!!! There were only a few food trucks (ice cream, bagels) so we need more options - it would be nice to eat dinner there. However, it was wonderful to be outside, see some "old" friends we rarely see from Nov.-April, pick up some veggies & fruit, watch kids climb up/down slide. Yay again! : )
