New mattress, new car seat, new beginnings in this new year.
I'm a big girl now!I still need a bed for this new mattress, actually Daddy is going to build a platform for it. For now it's on the floor against one wall with a sheet & blankets. Low to the ground is a good thing since I'll be climbing in & out of it, might as well not fall & hurt myself! Really it's still a crib mattress, but it's a standard size & what I have been sleeping on for years is a mini crib mattress.
The new car seat isn't really new, it's the same seat, just facing a new direction -
FORWARD! Still exciting as I get to see my world from a different perspective. I love seeing the trucks everywhere & the buildings like where Jessie, Michael & India live. I also get to see Mommy & Daddy as we talk which I didn't realize was so weird when I was facing backwards. So much FUN!
Both of these things happened because I'm so tall, 35 1/2 inches, basically 3 feet, & busting out of the crib & back of car. Surprisingly I haven't figured out how, or at least decided, to climb out of the crib. I'm not sure why not since I'm adventurous, not scared of much & I like to climb too.
We went to my 2 year medical visit 3 days ago. Impressive as always. I weigh 26 pounds which is around the 20-25 %tile (I cannot read those charts!) - good for me anyway. My head circumference didn't change - so odd because I'm really smart & I know all my brains need to fit in there. Someone measured something wrong at the 18 month visit or this one. My height is 80-85 %tile which is quite a leap from last visit. People comment on how tall I am.
2011 is off to an awesome start!
Love, Julia
